René Heyvaert

1929-1984, Belgium
René Heyvaert studied architecture at Luca School of Arts in Ghent. He created his architectural body of work between 1955 and 1969, which means it is rather limited. Nevertheless, it is considered important and innovative in an international tradition in which American architecture served as a model. He also worked as an architect in the United States for several years.
