Roni Horn has been making drawings, photographs, sculptures and installations since the late 1970s. She also writes observations and essays and publishes books. Themes such as nature, people, the weather, literature and poetry are central to her art. Horn feels strongly associated with Iceland's unique geography and geology. She first travelled to Iceland in the 1970s and has returned there regularly since.
