Contemporary artists examined these questions from social, ecological, architectural, and technological perspectives. The public space of Kortrijk, exhibition venues, and historical sites were transformed by monumental and interactive artworks that challenged the notion of paradise while simultaneously confronting audiences and inspiring hope.
